We are looking for a Data and measurement specialist to join our global Marketing team. This is a great opportunity for those interested in finding data stories and trends, innovating, and making an impact on a global, fast-growing business.

What are some of the things you do on a day-to-day basis?

  • Be the owner of Google Tag Manager and tracking pixels implementation in the company
  • Be the owner of the Consent Management Platform and optimize user consent rates
  • Server side tracking setup
  • Maintain GA4 on all of Taboola’s assets
  • Setup ETL processes to export the data to Vertica
  • Setup tables and dashboards that are relying on Google Analytics, Bigquery.
  • Make sure we are staying ahead of the curve with data collection in the cookieless world.

What are the skills a Data and measurement specialist needs to have?

  • 2+ years of experience using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager or related analytics platforms.
  • 2+ years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Proficiency in implementing tracking pixels, events, and custom HTML and JavaScript tags using Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience using Google Analytics 4 through Bigquery or other data related tools for various measurement use cases. 
  • Experience Guiding development teams in implementing server-to-server or CAPI events.
  • Understanding and experience implementing cookie consent mechanisms. Experience in testing and optimizing consent rates is a plus.
  • Basic SQL proficiency, including creating and querying tables on Google BigQuery.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Creating reports and dashboards on Looker Studio or other data visualization tools.
  • Collaborative and Strategic Skills:
    • Close collaboration with media, PPC, and UA teams to align technical implementations with business objectives.
    • Ability to turn business objectives into clear and measurable KPIs.
    • Conversion Rate Optimization experience is a plus.
    • Ability to listen and understand business needs and creatively develop solutions.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, and adaptability.
