DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to uncover insights, optimize business processes, and support strategic initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while working on meaningful challenges that directly impact our mission.
At Pontera, we leverage a modern data stack that includes Snowflake, DBT, and Tableau to enable seamless data analysis and visualization.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Collaborate with stakeholders across teams (e.g., Product, Sales, Marketing) to identify analytical needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Perform deep-dive analyses on complex datasets to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and solve business problems.
- Develop, implement, and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure business outcomes.
- Support decision-making by providing clear, concise, and impactful data presentations to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Partner with Data Engineering to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and scalability of data pipelines and reporting tools.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in processes, tools, and data quality, and recommend solutions.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role in the tech industry, with a proven track record of driving business impact.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Business Acumen: Experience working in FinTech, SaaS, or a high-growth startup environment is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and levels of seniority.
Nice to have:
- Experience working with GTM teams, with an emphasis of Sales and CS
- Familiarity with Python, R, or similar scripting languages is a plus.
- Specific Tableau experience
- Compensation: $150,000 to $180,000 annually
