In this role, you will work with a highly collaborative team of data analysts, product/program managers, and a cross-functional team of software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists with experience in developing and implementing data analytics solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
As a Analytics Engineer on the Business Engineering Team at Meta, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models, queries, reports, and visualizations that support multiple use cases for multiple squads (Supply chain operations, sourcing, and other related areas). You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business owners, solution leads, and data scientists, to understand data needs and represent key data insights meaningfully.Analytics Engineer Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers and data scientists to understand data needs, represent key data insights.
  • Support existing processes running in production and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance.
  • Build dashboards and reports to track effectiveness and efficiency improvements over time, and guide future decisions.
  • Establish close working relationships with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders including sales teams, data engineering, and product development teams.
  • Design, develop, integrate, maintain, build, and launch collections of data models, queries, reports, and visualizations that support multiple use cases for supply chain operations
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reports to support supply chain operations
  • Optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to facilitate the easy development of data artifacts
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, C#, Scala, etc.)
  • 4+ years of experience working in an analytical capacity developing insights, defining metrics, and making recommendations.
  • Presentation and communications experience with extracting insights from technical data sets to varied audiences.
  • Experience thinking strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
  • 2+ years of experience working with supply chain functions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with one or more of the following: data processing automation, data quality, data warehousing, data governance, data privacy
  • Experience working with large scale data models

$104,000/year to $146,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
