Cloud Data Architect (m/f/d)

We are looking for a top-notch technology savvy specialist in the Data Architecture area, willing to move our projects on a new track! You will use the most advanced technology stack and have an opportunity to implement new solutions while working with top leaders in the industry. You will be part of our global team and you will participate in international projects

• As a Cloud Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing solution architectures for our organization in the cloud

• You will solve complex business problems at a large scale, participate in cross-functional initiatives and collaborate across various domains

• Furthermore, you will interact with specialists and product/project managers from all over the world. You will be building and implementing new solutions for MAN Energy Solutions form a technical aspect, interacting with other areas of IT and the business to ensure that the solutions are optimal

• As our operations are outsourced you will collaborate with external parties

• You will participate in and contribute to architecture workgroups within MAN Energy Solutions and other brands in the Volkswagen group

You can help us with these qualifications

• Completed Degree (e.g. MSc) in IT related development
• Significant professional, hands-on experience building complex solution, while applying cost- and security awareness to design principles
• Working experience in an Architect role including designing and building complex data solutions
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud products and services
• Understanding data fabric, data mesh, data vault, data pipelining
• Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions in a professional forum
• Experience in creating reliable solution plans in a cooperation with business and multi-disciplinary teams
• Demonstrated strategic thinking through a proven ability to research inquiries and emerging issues related to regulations, industry practice and new application technologies
• Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Hands-on, professional experience with BI/ETL/BigData Technologies
• Strong understanding and experience with design and optimization of relational and no-SQL databases
• Experience with real-time data processing and data warehousing aggregation
• Ensure data compliant approach to minimize data vulnerability
• Support for application architecture (focus on cloud readiness)
• Experience evaluating new IT technologies and solutions in the data/database domain
• Previous involvement in IT cloud transformation program (advisory, architectural, technological)
• Knowledge and experience in up-to-date Cloud automation solutions
• Fluent in German and English
