We are seeking a Data Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to join our Marketing team and play a key role in leveraging data to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate is passionate about working in a dynamic startup environment, skilled at analyzing complex datasets, and eager to deliver actionable insights that impact our growth.
Datarails is a financial planning and analysis platform that automates financial reporting and planning while enabling finance teams to continue using Excel's familiar spreadsheets and financial models.
About The Role
NoneWhat You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain the Marketing data warehouse to ensure scalable and efficient storage of business-critical data.
- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, insights, and actionable recommendations to support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide stakeholders with real-time data access.
- Partner with the Marketing team to understand their needs and deliver data solutions tailored to their goals.
- Assist in defining and tracking KPIs.
- Maintain and enhance the integrity, accuracy, and quality of data.
- Identify gaps in data collection and implement strategies to improve data quality and availability.
- Use statistical techniques and machine learning models to forecast trends, measure campaign performance, and support strategic planning.
- Conduct A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate potential improvements.
- Translate analysis into clear, actionable insights to improve product performance, optimize marketing campaigns, and drive customer success initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related analytical discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery).
- Experience working with Salesforce or Hubspot data and integration into analytics workflows.
- Experience in SaaS metrics and understanding of business models like ARR, churn, LTV, and CAC.
- Exposure to marketing analytics, cohort analysis, or product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Hubspot, Amplitude, Google Analytics).
- Strong communication and storytelling skills—ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
