Role reports to: Sr Manager

Location: Kenvue is currently in the process of moving it's Global Headquarters from Skillman, NJ to Summit, NJ. This role is based in Summit, NJ but there may be a period of time during the transition that you must report to Skillman.

Pay: $60,0000 - $96,600.00

 

What you will do 

As R&D Solution Engineering Analyst of the Kenvue Consumer Health R&D Experience, you will play a key role in building solutions to lead groundbreaking change and accelerate business value. You will work closely with key technology and business partners to apply human-centered design techniques to empathize with users and help design solutions that delight them. You will collaborate with the business to execute experiments with users to validate and further refine those problems into solutions. 

The Kenvue Consumer Health R&D Solution Engineering Analyst will play a key role in the use of data (from internal and external cross-functional sources) to inform, innovate and accelerate data-driven decision making throughout the design and development of our products.  You will be directly responsible for advanced data analysis to triage new datasets, investigate the data to respond / address business challenges, and to create tools and visualizations to allow R&D teams to interact with data. 

This role will translate complex data findings and results and will need to be able to communicate those to a variety of audiences spanning different levels of knowledge around technology and R&D processes.  You will be responsible for development and incubate the solution Minimum Viable Product and, when successful, continue to scale, launch and iteratively develop that solution to drive higher levels of impact, value and engagement. 

You will also be responsible for oversight and management of related R&D COTS and SaaS solutions and their related technology and product lifecycles.  As a member of the team, you will drive future product strategy and roadmap decisions, ensure TLM is addressed in a timely fashion, and employ and champion Agile best-practices to accelerate our delivery velocity and quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of related business experience required.
  • Experience with MSSQL and MongoDB NoSQL
  • Experience with React.JS for UI development
  • Experience with Node.JS and Python for backend development
  • Experience with Kafka for Event Streaming
  • Experience with Lambda for Serverless deployment
  • Strong IT background with a proven record of delivering results. Proven leadership, influencing skills, interdependent partnering skills, as well as critical thinking skills required
  • Deep understanding of IT and cloud native application practices preferred
  • Agile development experience, SDLC methodology, Risk management including Security is required
  • Hands on understanding of Design Principles (User Interface and Business Process and Opportunity Mapping) is preferred.
  • Experience with R&D systems and processes preferred
  • Direct experience managing complex data architectures, connected data strategies and data solution design
  • Hands on experience analyzing data to identify trends, insights, opportunities and apply to solutions
  • Hands on experience with data engineering concepts to manage/shape use and build of structured, unstructured data and non-standardized datasets
  • Experience with data science tools and concepts 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, strong negotiating skills, and the ability to motivate in a collaborative environment with outstanding service orientation are all requirements

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Trello is preferred
  • Prior experience with Graph Databases and BI Tools (Such as Tableau/Power BI) highly preferred
  • Understanding of data integration and analysis techniques and software preferred
  • Familiarity with Jenkins or other automation tools for CI/CD preferred
  • Hands-on focused project management skills are preferred
  • Ability to craft context around key business features and behaviors and present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Experience with digital health solutions and strategies preferred

  • Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from  $60,0000 - $96,600.00. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
