Business Intelligence & Automation Specialist

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver BI solutions that address their needs. Responsible for the detailed consultation and implementation of the appropriate solutions
• Develop and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other business insights and trends using different BI tools, such as Power BI, SQL, and Oracle Analytics Cloud 
• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimization
• Design, create, and deploy automation solutions using tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, UiPath, and Automation Anywhere to streamline and optimize business processes
• Ensure accurate and efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources
• Serve as a technical liaison to improve data quality and meet internal client objectives. Perform regular audits and checks on automated processes to ensure they function correctly and efficiently
• Document reports and dashboards in accordance with company standards
• Develop and maintain a detailed Project Plan to monitor and track progress based on project scope and project schedules
• Provide training and support to end users on BI tools, Power Platform tools, and automation systems
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in BI and automation technologies
• Perform other related functions as requested

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in Data Analytics & Reporting including Data Modelling and Data Visualization
• Proficient with MS Office Suite. Intermediate or advanced level skills using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Query/Excel, and Power Automate. Familiarity with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) a plus
• Experience in process mining and optimization with tools like Celonis, Disco, ProM and knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is an advantage
• Ability to communicate your analysis with clarity and precision. An ideal candidate would have a strong grasp of both technical and business perspectives, including project management
• Experience of task and project management is preferred

• Experience in procurement processes, especially in Procure to Pay (P2P) is an advantage

• Ability to work with virtual teams
