What you’ll do

As a part of the architecture team, which is responsible for Vodafone TV solution design and delivery, the role holder is expected to be a key contributor in the design and architecture of the data ecosystem of Vodafone TV. She/he also actively collaborates with engineering and operational teams to design and deliver cost effective data solutions to enhance VTV product offering & user experience. She/he works to ensure that best technologies and industry trends are incorporated into architectural designs.

Main responsabilities:

  • Drive the design and evolution of the Vodafone TV data ecosystem APIs and operational support/analytics tools.

  • Work on data integration with third-party systems.

  • Work closely with Operational and Analytics stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into cost effective technical solutions.

  • Work on data governance solution.

Who you are

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in data architecture and TV technologies
  • Strong experience in REST API specification/design/development
  • Strong experience in integration architecture with third-party systems
  • Experience in designing operational tools for remote device management systems etc
  • Experience of NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc
  • Good knowledge of data modelling and relational database design
  • Experience with reporting and data visualization tools like Tableau, Kibana etc
  • Good knowledge of data anonymization and privacy impact assessment for data processing
  • Prior working experience in Agile development environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Data Lake, analytics solutions, ETL processes, etc.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in multiple stakeholder environments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience and professional certification in cloud technology like GCP
  • Prior experience in Cloud Migration Projects
  • Development experience (Java, Node.js, etc).
