To design and develop compelling visualizations that effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders across the bank, influencing decision-making and improving business outcomes.
Accountabilities
- Performing exploratory data analysis and data cleansing to prepare data for visualization.
- Translation of complex data into clear, concise, and visually appealing charts, graphs, maps, and other data storytelling formats.
- Utilisation of best practices in data visualization principles and design aesthetics to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Documentation of visualization methodologies and findings in clear and concise reports.
- Presentation of data insights and visualizations to stakeholders at all levels, including executives, business users, and data analysts.

Opportunity to join our dynamic Data Solutions & Services team as a Senior Data Visualisation Developer, where you’ll have the opportunity to drive and create impactful visualisation using Tableau and spearhead a new Tableau Community and Council. You will work across Global Transaction Banking, in a team that is at the forefront of innovation, delivering market-leading solutions that empower the business to drive income and gain deeper insights into performance metrics.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise to transform complex data into actionable insights, enabling key stakeholders to make informed decisions and understand how different areas of the business are performing, you will also be seen as the authority for Dashboard design/innovation, tooling best practice and coaching. Key Responsibilities:
- Creating innovative Tableau Visualisations to present complex data insights effectively.
- Gathering and building out requirements for impactful data visualisations.
- Collaborating closely with Data subject matter experts and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and maximise business impact.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders across the bank to seek out opportunities to add value through Data Solutions and Services.
- Utilizing your expertise to drive new visualisation solutions that enhance decision making and performance understanding.
- Promote and embed a Tableau Data Literacy culture across the business.
- Champion Data Democratisation to enable the business to make informed data driven decisions.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Tableau and working in a data environment experience
- Ability to articulate technical findings in business terms and demonstrate value to stakeholders.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and ability to connect across all levels.

This role can be based in Northampton or London.
