Intern Data Analyst (m/f/x)

As a digital system provider for Lidl's online business, we at Lidl e-commerce create efficient, scalable digital products and services and develop them further for the future. As a brand of the IT and digital division Schwarz Digits, our divisions are divided into Commerce Platforms, Marketing Tech & Enablement, New Digital Business Models and SCRM Loyalty Platforms.

What you´ll do

• As a Intern Data Analyst at our team, you will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and other Data Analysts. You will delve into the complex world of e-commerce data and work on provisioning and analysing data related to interesting business challenges. 
• Consolidate, prepare, analyze, document and stage data from various data sources 
• Collaborate in the development of automated data pipelines to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality on Azure/Google Cloud
• Work together with our Data teams on interesting analytics use cases

What you’ll bring along

• You are pursuing your Bachelor or Master studies in Computer Sciences, Software Development or a similar field
• Exposure to Python/Scala and SQL 
• Basic experience with cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud 
• Exposure to working with Databricks on Azure and/or working on BigQuery 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Analytical mindset to interpret the data and draw conclusions
• Excellent communication skills in English
