As a member of the Service Management Technologies team, the objective of this role is to support the central administration of the ServiceNow platform, to develop and continually improve the functionality of applications hosted on that platform, to provide end-user support and to conduct problem investigations and root cause analysis to resolve functional issues. Additionally, this role will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, primarily using Power BI. This role will focus on turning raw data into meaningful insights and visualizations to support decision-making across the organization.

This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a subject matter expert with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform including, but not limited to, ITSM, ITBM, Configuration Management, Asset Management, Event Management, Service Mapping, Application Development, etc.
  • Develops and maintains ServiceNow platform applications, custom applications and integrations with external systems.
  • Identifies system deficiencies, recommends solutions and participates in ongoing production support.
  • Collaborates effectively with other ServiceNow team members to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes and requests.
  • Participates in projects and support issues associated with ServiceNow applications, liaising with appropriate IT departments as well as associated vendors.
  • Maintains, documents and continuously improves the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools associated with the operation of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Continually review the efficiency and effectiveness of the ServiceNow platform and applications.
  • Maintains a current knowledge of ServiceNow product offerings and other supporting technologies.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI that meet business needs.
  • Optimize Power BI reports for performance, usability, and scalability.
  • Integrate Power BI with various data sources, such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, Azure, and APIs.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow developer.
  • Experience with JavaScript development is required.
  • Experience with ITIL methodology a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficient using MS Office products.
  • 1- 3 years of experience creating complex PowerBi reports.
  • Power Application development a plus.
  • Experience with Atlassian products a plus.

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$5,444.76 - $9,537.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
