Department: Cardiac Diagnostics (CDx)  

Location(s): Arden Hills, MN  

Duration: May - August 2025 (dates flexible)

Your Opportunity:   

As a System Test Intern at Boston Scientific, you will…  

  • Research, explore, and experiment with various Generative AI (GenAI) and Machine Learning (ML) tools to evaluate their effectiveness
  • Help design and implement automated testing frameworks using GenAI and ML technologies
  • Write and maintain test scripts to automate various testing scenarios
  • Integrate GenAI and ML models into the testing frameworks to enhance test coverage and accuracy
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to understand their testing needs and challenges
  • Collaborate on integrating automated testing solutions into the software development lifecycle
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on testing strategies and improvements

 

 

 

Your Impact:

During this internship, you will contribute to projects/teams which

  • produce products that provide near-real-time monitoring of cardiac events, allowing for timely detection and intervention
  • Collect comprehensive heart data, enabling physicians to make accurate diagnoses of various cardiac conditions
  • Offer small, lightweight, and waterproof monitors that patients can wear comfortably during their daily activities without disruption
  • Helps identify and manage conditions like arrhythmias and sleep apnea, leading to better treatment plans and improved patient health
  • Educates patients about their heart health and the importance of monitoring, empowering them to take proactive steps in managing their conditions
  • Provides step-by-step guidance and support for patients using the monitors, ensuring they understand how to use the devices effectively
  • contribute to better cardiac care and improved quality of life for patients with heart issues

 

Required Qualifications:   

  • Must be a rising junior or rising senior (grad dates between Dec 2025 - June 2027), graduating senior (May/June 2025 grad) continuing on to grad school, or current grad student 
  • Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship to qualify    
  • Pursuing a Computer Science or Software Engineering degree or have an emphasis/minor in one of them
  • Experience with C# or other programming language in a school or professional environment
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States without restriction/immigration sponsorship

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical skills coupled with a high level of initiative and responsibility  
  • Experience with AI prompting, trends and tools
  • Eagerness to take on responsibility and natural curiosity to creatively search for software defects  
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills  
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle  
  • Previous experience with coding or test automation

Maximum Salary: $ 69472 

 

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
