Director, Data Analytics and Strategic Insights

In this role, you will be based in our Americas head office in Lone Tree, CO. This role is hybrid and open to candidates who reside, or will reside, in the Denver area. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
Your success in this role is measured by your ability to develop and implement advanced analytics solutions and strategies to quantify and identify business opportunities, drive revenue growth, and provide access to operational data needed to effectively run our business. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to define and execute on Cochlear’s data product road map and leverage data insights for business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-design and deliver data analytics strategy for North America region while collaborating with regional and global counterparts to create new global operating models that promote alignment and maturation through centers of excellence.
- Oversee and manage commercial data modelling and scenario analysis for informed decision-making.
- Work closely with Executive Team to define KPI’s and tools for tracking major business initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (i.e. marketing, sales, operations, etc.) to proactively and retroactively provide actionable insights and recommendations that help support the selection and achievement of objectives.
Key Requirements
To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:
- 10-15 Years of Experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role, overseeing teams of managers and/or analysts
- Experience in managing large-scale, complex data analysis and delivering actionable insights to senior executives through written and visual forms.
- Experience with data transformation and analytical tools (Snowflake, SQL, Tableau, Python, R, Excel or equivalent systems, platforms or languages)
- Strong background in statistical analysis and predictive modeling
- Strong project management skills and ability to plan and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of modern data stacks and ability to quickly understand the flow of data from source to ingestion, storage, transformation and analytics
- Relevant certifications in analytics tools, data science, or business intelligence platforms can be a plus (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, SAS, Microsoft Power BI, etc.)

- Pay Range in the United States: $165,000 - $190,000 per year based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 20% of base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
