Job Description

Summary

The Ares Quantitative Research Group (QRG) is a pioneer in the application of quantitative analytics to private markets. QRG works across asset classes – credit, private equity, private real estate, and infrastructure – to provide investible insights to Ares’ investment teams, to deepen relationships with Ares’ investors, and to help develop new products for the firm. The group is a leader in private market performance measurement, having played a key role in the development of the Direct Alpha and Excess Value measures. It regularly deals with questions that are novel, benefiting from the opportunities created by the under-researched nature of private assets. QRG consists of two teams, Research and Data Science, and Quantitative Portfolio Strategies.

We are seeking a talented and motivated C# Application Developer to join our dynamic Research and Data Science team. This role collaborates closely with quant researchers and data scientists on our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full stack C#.NET web and desktop application development, with a passion for building complex, innovative apps for our growing user base. As a C# Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining solutions for data management, data analysis and data visualization, including APIs to facilitate collaboration across the firm.
