Hybrid People Leaders: must reside in AZ, required to be onsite at least once per week
Hybrid Individual Contributors: must reside in AZ, unless otherwise cited within this posting, required to be onsite at least once per month
Onsite: daily onsite requirement based on the essential functions of the job
Remote: not held to onsite requirements, however, leadership can request presence onsite for business reasons including but not limited to staff meetings, one-on-ones, training, and team building
Please note that onsite requirements may change in the future, based on business need, and job responsibilities. Most employees should expect onsite requirements and at a minimum of once per month.
This internship requires work and residency in Arizona.
Purpose of the job
- This is an internship position typically held by a junior, senior, or graduate level college student with an interest in technology or related field of study. The incumbent will assist with developing business intelligence and reporting while learning the core concepts of corporate IT management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Work Experience
- College coursework related to technology and/or experience with business intelligence and data transformation.
Required Education
- Junior/Senior level college
- GPA of 3.0 or higher

ESSENTIAL job functions AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal Intern Project Coordinator will learn the skills necessary to develop metrics and KPI reporting for that cover the operational areas for IT and other areas of the organization. They will participate in data transformation and curation, development of data models, and the development of report visualizations. They will assist the Chief of Staff in defining and developing the visual story of IT operations presented to leadership.
Intern – Performs job functions under close supervision or peer review.
- Demonstrate an understanding of data transformation and curation skills.
- Participate in developing reporting visualizations.
- Assist with creation of presentations.
- Track and update action items, risks, and issues logs.
- Learn about the operational activities of enterprise IT.
- Update SharePoint site.
- Communicate with IT and Business leaders.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Required Job Skills
- Intermediate PC proficiency
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Intermediate knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Basic project management concepts and methods.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work with multiple priorities, sometimes under limited time constraints.
- Creativity and innovative problem-solving abilities
- Highly-effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive working relationship with others.
- Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
- Analytical knowledge to generate reports based on available data and make decisions based on reported data.
- Build synergy with a diverse team in an ever changing environment.
