We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in knowledge graphs, agentic systems, and building applications for complex document parsing.

Responsibilities

  • You will work with data scientists, data engineers, and the anti-fraud team to design, implement, and maintain knowledge graphs that serve as the data backbone for analytics and investigations. Downstream processes will require building agentic systems leveraging GraphRAG frameworks or fine tuned language models to enhance fraud detection tools and deliver complex document parsing tools to enable new data channels.

  • Design and implement scalable knowledge graph solutions to model complex relationships of the insurance ecosystem.

  • Design and implement AI agents that can interact with multiple knowledge bases, including graphs, to accelerate the work of fraud investigators

  • Create solutions for parsing and extracting critical elements from complex documents using agentic and GraphRAG methods.

  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate knowledge graph systems within existing analytics and operational tools.

  • Stay up to date with the newest technologies in knowledge graphs, agentic systems, and document parsing to propose innovative strategies.

  • Thoroughly document methodologies and processes to ensure industry-standard compliance and knowledge transfer.

  • Ensure all data handling processes comply with relevant privacy and security standards.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in machine learning engineering, including building and productizing AI models and systems.

  • Experience with building graph databases and frameworks (e.g., Neo4j, GraphX).

  • Proficiency with Python, including experience with libraries and frameworks relevant to AI application development (e.g., LangChain, Streamlit, LlamaIndex, etc.)

  • Proficiency in training or fine-tuning language models (e.g., BERT, Llama, GPT) and their optimization (LoRA, knowledge distillation, pruning and quantization)

  • Experience with implementing complex document parsing using agentic systems and RAG methodologies.

  • Familiarity with Cloud Services e.g., Azure (preferred), AWS, GCP

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals that emphasize code reliability, maintainability and readability

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to work closely in teams with multiple functions.

  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools like JIRA or Confluence.

Salary range is expected to be between

$87,990.00 USD - $163,410.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
