About the role

The Manager of Rentals Sales Analytics is responsible for coordinating data analytics to improve sales performance. You will collaborate with Sales and Support leadership teams and Operations to maintain data integrity, develop analytical capabilities, and provide valuable insights. Your key responsibilities include developing your team, leading project intake, and driving Sales success.

As a leader in this space you will have the opportunity to:

  • Distill & prioritize business needs into an impactful roadmap

  • Think at the systems level to identify analytics projects that can help inform process improvements to boost sales efficiency

  • Collaborate with Sales leaders to leverage sales analytics projects in the formulation of sales plans and objectives

  • Define the standard methodologies for how your team will deploy reporting and BI technologies to deliver high quality analyses & reporting

Project Intake & Roadmap Execution:

  • Leverage project management platforms to capture clear requirements & understand tradeoffs when it comes to sales analytics requests

  • Collaborate with a diverse group of collaborators to understand underlying needs and identify impactful solutions

  • Prioritize and complete tasks according to the quarterly roadmap while keeping colleagues updated on progress

Developing the Team:

  • Mentor the team to uplevel their skills & achieve their career development goals

  • Drive accountability in the day to day by setting clear expectations & actively driving success at the individual & team levels

  • Develop a team culture of innovation, both leading by example & providing direct reports opportunities for situational leadership


Cross-functional Sales Strategy Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the product and sales enablement teams to develop pricing strategies, sales channels, market segments & sales efficiency measurement to optimize revenue generation

  • Collaborate with product, program management, sales leaders & front line sales professionals to build an effective sales enablement toolkit for Rentals Sales

  • Align cross-functional teams and drive business success by bridging the gap and promoting collaboration between sales, marketing, product, data, and shared service teams

Technical Leadership:

  • Set guidelines and protocols to maintain consistent quality for ad hoc analyses and the overall sales analytics reporting suite.

  • Offer insights on the team's approach to data modeling, working closely with data engineering and data producers to ensure reliable reporting.

  • Identify and implement the right combination of tools and technologies required to build an elite sales analytics ecosystem

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $107,000.00 - $171,000.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 5-plus years experience in a Sales Analytics role, with proven track record as a people manager

  • Experienced in Sales Data: you lead with a strong foundation in applying core business intelligence skills such as SQL, ETL standard methodologies, data modeling, SFDC, Python, and Tableau to improve Sales results

  • You excel in communication and collaboration, understanding the needs of your collaborators, customers, partners, and team members in a fast-paced business environment. You communicate tradeoffs, ensure visibility of your team's projects, and articulate your vision for improvement.

  • You hold yourself and your team accountable for achieving goals and fostering the professional development of your team

  • Continuous Innovator: You are committed to innovation, exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve sales strategies and outcomes
