Salary: £25,105 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week

Programme Duration: 5-year programme

Candidate shortlisting will take place on w/c 17th and 24th February and assessment days will take place between w/c 3rd and 10th March

Apprenticeship Programme;

During this programme, we'll help you develop your practical and behavioural skills and support you in gaining the technical and professional knowledge required for you to succeed in your career.

As well as this, you’ll also gain a Level 6 Data Scientist Integrated Degree.

With many of our colleagues starting as apprentices, you’ll receive full support and guidance from everyone throughout.

By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have received industry-standard training and attained qualifications that will enable you to progress and reach your full potential.

What you'll be doing;

As a Procurement Data Science Degree Apprentice at Veolia, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Green-Up Strategy through data-driven procurement. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Learning to manage and analyse procurement data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

• Assisting the Procurement team in making informed decisions based on data insights.

• Helping to develop and implement data solutions that enhance our procurement processes.

• Supporting projects aimed at improving efficiency and automation in procurement.

• Creating clear and concise reports on procurement data for various team members.

• Collaborating with different departments to understand their data needs and requirements.

• Gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, including AI-driven solutions for procurement.

• Contributing to initiatives that optimise our ways of working and track the benefits of our procurement strategies.

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to learn about the strategic role of procurement in supporting Veolia's environmental goals while developing valuable skills in data analysis and business intelligence.

What we're looking for;

• A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4/C (or equivalent) achieved or predicted, including Maths & English

• A Level 3 qualification, such as A-levels, a BTEC, or a Level 3 NVQ, in Mathematics, IT or a Data Science field

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Collaborative approach

• High attention to detail and good analytical skills

• Problem-solving skills

• Interest in data and practical application of data in Procurement

• Time management, planning and organisational skills
