Data Lead (Enablement) - Barcelona (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Data Lead to spearhead the development of our Data Enablement team and cultivate a high-performance culture. You will be the first point of contact for data teams, driving the optimization of reporting infrastructure, data visualization tools, and more. You will shape and execute the AI tooling strategy, bringing cutting-edge innovation to data processes, while leading data literacy initiatives to promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:

• Owning and optimizing data tools such as the data catalog and reporting platforms, driving continuous automation and modernization.
• Collaborating with the data leadership team to design, implement, and refine FREENOW’s data strategy.
• Effectively communicating with stakeholders to transform business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Organizing projects, prioritizing tasks, and enhancing processes within the Data Enablement team and the broader data organization.
• Ensuring the quality and accuracy of top-level reporting and key performance indicators.
• Overseeing app and web tracking as well as data ingestion into the data lake.
• Providing training, coaching, and guidance to team members to foster their growth and success.
• Developing project plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of objectives.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

• A degree in business studies, computer science, or a related field with a strong mathematical, statistical, or scientific focus.
• 5+ years of experience in data with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
• Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, paired with lateral thinking.
• Advanced technical skills and the ability to oversee complex data tooling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence stakeholders and deliver clear documentation.
• A track record of successfully leading and managing projects from inception to completion.
• Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
