About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team responsible for collecting, cleaning, structuring, and analyzing large datasets to help inform business decisions and provide insights to customers on the utilization of our products. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and SQL database management, combined with the ability to leverage business software tools for data manipulation and analysis.

What You will Do:

  • Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather data from multiple sources, clean, and prepare datasets for analysis. Ensure data quality and integrity by identifying inconsistencies or errors and taking corrective actions.
  • Data Structuring and Transformation: Organize raw data into structured formats, ensuring consistency and relevance for business and customer use. Develop processes to automate data cleaning and transformation where possible.
  • Data Analysis: Use statistical methods and programming tools to analyze large datasets, identify trends, patterns, and correlations. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and customer success plans.
  • Programming and Scripting: Utilize JavaScript and Python to automate data processing, build models, and perform complex analyses utilizing tools like Retool. Write reusable and efficient code to improve data workflows.
  • Database Management: Use SQL to query, manipulate, and manage data stored in relational databases. Ensure the optimal performance of queries and manage database integrity.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create clear and comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Data Pipeline and Modeling Collaboration - Collaborate with data analysts in US teams to design and implement robust data infrastructure, leveraging dbt or similar data transformation tools to ensure efficient data modeling, pipeline automation, and scalable workflows to improve time to insight.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of analysis processes, methodologies, and coding practices for future reference and knowledge sharing.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for data processing and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases.
  • Experience with data cleaning, structuring, and transformation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with business software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Retool, or similar) for data analysis and visualization.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and handle complex queries.
  • Knowledge/willingness to learn DBT/suitable alternatives to build a modern data stack.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of data quality.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present complex data findings to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable with navigating ambiguity, and possessing a keen sense of grit.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Retool.
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries in Python (e.g., pandas).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology (e.g., Electronic Health Record (EHR), Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and healthcare compliance (e.g., HIPAA) (highly desirable)
