We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Data Science and Analytics to lead our efforts in applying advanced data science methodologies and machine learning frameworks within the programmatic advertising domain. Your work will help drive the intelligent automation of key programmatic processes, improving decision-making and driving measurable business results.

You will build and mentor a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models and analytics tools into our ecosystem. This role involves driving innovation in how we use AI and machine learning to automate and optimize programmatic advertising strategies

Here’s a breakdown of the key responsibilities and tasks you would focus on:

• Overall accountability for execution and successful release of data science features and Solutions
• Sets the right balance between research development / delivery modes, balancing needs of the business requirements short term whilst also building towards longer term capabilities
• Inspire and lead a talented team of Data scientists, mentor the team leads into more well-rounded managers and leaders
• Provide thought leadership on how machine learning models and automation can improve the efficiency of programmatic media buying and targeting
• Build and deploy agentic frameworks that use data to autonomously adjust programmatic campaigns, ensuring optimal performance while maintaining control over key business objectives.
• Establish and lead MLOps practices for the development, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning models
• Promote best practices in data science and machine learning frameworks within the team, ensuring that models are built using robust methodologies and tools.

Key stakeholders include the Product, Engineering and Business leads

What you’ll bring  

• 12+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and analytics, or related roles, with at least 5+ years in a leadership position
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing Machine Learning, Optimization, NLP, Deep Learning, & Gen AI techniques
• Strong understanding of MLOps tools and practices, including model versioning, monitoring, and continuous deployment
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) to build scalable AI systems and pipelines
• Experience with at-least one programming language - Python, R
• Continuous improvement, Iterate fast, fail-fast mindset who is relentlessly looking for opportunities to bring in incremental and step changes across people, processes and technology.
• Proven ability to lead & develop teams, manage cross-functional relationships & communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience managing & strategising multiple projects, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
