Job Title: Senior Murex Functional FO BA Role

Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

1.     Analyze and Document User Requirements: Gather and document user requirements, translating them into functional specifications.

2.     Liaise with Global Markets Teams: Serve as a key intermediary between Global Markets teams (including business and supporting functions), IT teams, and vendors.

3.     Engage in Business Discussions: Actively participate in discussions with business stakeholders, understanding their needs and translating them into change or project initiatives.

4.     Define Systems and Data Requirements: Specify system and data requirements, ensuring validation of system design and processes from both functional and technical perspectives.

5.     Refine Business and Testing Requirements: Collaborate with vendors to develop and refine business, functional, and testing requirements for the project.

6.     Configure Solutions: Configure solutions according to specified requirements.

7.     Murex Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert for Murex suite of tools used within the Front Office, maximizing product functionality.

8.     Test Planning and Execution: Create test plans, test cases, and execute system testing.

9.     User Training Contribution: Contribute to user training activities through discussions, preparation of training guides, and presentations.

10. Vendor Support and Bug Resolution: Follow up with vendor support to address any bugs or issues.

11. Project Handover: Ensure technical and functional handover of projects and changes to relevant teams.

12. Process Development and System Training: Assist in developing business and operational processes and participate in creating system training materials when needed.

Mandatory Experience Required:

1. Murex FO Module Experience:

• Over 5 years of experience working with the Murex FO module on the MX3.1 platform.
• Proficient in configuring pre-trade rules and e-tradepad settings.

1. Capital Market Exposure:

• Extensive exposure to various capital market asset classes, including FXO, IRD, FX cash, MM, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, credit derivatives, and OTC derivatives.

1. Trade Lifecycle Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle across Front Office (FO), Middle Office (MO), and Back Office (BO) tiers.

1. Pricing Models and Formulas:

• Sound knowledge of pricing models used in financial markets.
• Experienced in creating e-tradepad booking templates and formulas.

1. Data Analytics and Configuration:

• Proficient in simulations and working with the Data Dictionary.
• Skilled in configuring Market Data and curves.

1. Market Operations and Risk Measures:

• Familiar with various types of market operations.
• Good understanding of Profit and Loss Value at Risk (PL VaR) and Live Book.

1. Risk Management:

• Sound knowledge of Murex Risk Measures, including sensitivities, Greeks, VaR, and Credit Risk.

1. Market Data Impact:

• Understands the impact of Market Data sources and data cleansing on Profit and Loss (P&L).

1. Product Launch and Structured Products:

• Able to contribute to launching new products and structured financial instruments.

1. System Understanding:

• Familiar with the Global Operations Manager (GOM).
• Knowledgeable about core End-of-Day (EOD) jobs.

Nice to have:

·        Basic understanding of SQL

·        Basic understanding of post trade workflows

·        Experience in C++ is value added but not mandatory.
