About The Role:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join our Analytics team, which focuses on delivering actionable insights to empower teams and leaders across the organization. This role is critical to driving meaningful change through data analysis and insight generation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience querying and analyzing complex data, particularly in the retail industry, and will demonstrate a passion for interpreting consumer behavior. They should excel in synthesizing data into actionable insights and possess exceptional communication skills to convey complex concepts with clarity and precision.

Workplace Arrangements:

This role will follow a fully remote schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work from home 5 days a week.

What You'll be Doing:

• Participate in the development and implementation of self-service analytics tools, with an emphasis on actionability

• Produce ad-hoc reporting and analytics, recommending appropriate courses of action to senior leadership

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities to deliver Giant Tiger's strategies

• Know our data and our KPIs; proactively validating and investigating observed trends

• Contribute to, and benefit from, the growth and development of the Reporting & Analytics team and its members

What You'll Bring:

• 3-5 years of experience in producing ad-hoc and self-serve analytics in the Retail industry

• Experience using BigQuery and SQL for data querying and manipulation.

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.

• Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver insights and appropriate recommendations to stakeholder

• Familiarity with the Google analytics tech stack is a plus (BigQuery, Looker)

• Experience working in Marketing Analytics would be an advantage
