Job Description Summary:
ADI Camas is pursuing an entry level Equipment Engineering Intern with an interest in working across multiple functional areas which may include Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), Diffusion, Epitaxy, and Implant.
Job Description:
Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
- Developing improvements in equipment performance, reliability, and maintenance to optimize yield, quality, cost, and cycle time.
- Troubleshooting equipment failures and applying SPC fundamentals to identify areas for improvement.
- Implementing preventative maintenance strategies to extend equipment life and maximize uptime.
- Optimizing equipment to lower cost, maximize output, and match performance across tools.
- Supporting new equipment qualification and installation processes.
- Analyzing equipment utilization and downtime trends to enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Root cause investigation of equipment-related discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborating with manufacturing and process teams to ensure seamless equipment performance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in ChemE, ME, EE, Physics, Chemistry or a related discipline.
Relevant Experience:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills and ability to productively engage with individuals from a range of backgrounds.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with a high degree of ownership.
- Flexibility to learn new equipment, systems, platforms, and maintenance processes.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and frequently changing environment.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic who will thrive in a dynamic 24/7 manufacturing setting.
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading semiconductor processing equipment.
- Strong computer and analytical skills, including statistics.
- Familiar with Visual Basic, Python, Java or similar programming language.
