Are you a bold data visionary with a knack for turning numbers into game-changing insights? As Head of SSL Business Intelligence (Mobility), you’ll lead a world-class analytics team, partnering with product, operations, and finance leaders to shape DiDi’s future in Spanish Speaking Latin America. You’ll collaborate with senior executives, drive advanced analytics projects, and elevate our data culture—all while revolutionizing how millions move every day. Role Responsibilities

  • Leading Advanced Analytics Projects: Overseeing the ideation, development, and execution of sophisticated data initiatives that enhance DiDi’s Mobility offerings across SSL.
  • Collaborating Cross-Functionally: Working closely with Product, Operations, and Growth teams to translate business needs into impactful data solutions that inform strategic decisions.
  • Shaping Data-Driven Culture: Championing a culture of analytics and experimentation, ensuring data insights are at the heart of product improvements, operational workflows, and growth strategies.
  • Building & Mentoring Your Team: Hiring, guiding, and developing a high-performing BI/analytics group, setting clear goals and fostering a collaborative environment that empowers everyone to excel.
  • Partnering with Data Engineering: Working hand-in-hand with data engineering teams to ensure a reliable flow of high-quality information, enabling your team to deliver timely and accurate insights.
  • Developing KPI Frameworks: Defining and tracking key performance metrics, creating dashboards and reporting systems that provide real-time visibility into the health of the Mobility business.
  • Influencing Senior Leadership: Presenting compelling recommendations to top executives, shaping critical investment and strategic decisions for regional growth.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Staying on top of industry trends, experimenting with emerging tools and methodologies to ensure DiDi remains an analytics leader in the mobility space.

Role Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For

  • Proven Leadership & Experience: 8+ years in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related fields with a strong track record of leading and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. (Master’s or MBA is a plus.)
  • Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of SQL, data visualization tools, and advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling). Familiarity with Python or R is highly valued.
  • Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Spanish and English is required to excel in cross-functional, regional collaborations.
  • Preferred Qualifications

    • Advanced Degree: MBA or Master’s/PhD in a quantitative field.
    • Mobility or Tech Background: Prior experience in mobility, ridesharing, or broader tech industries.
    • Analytical Tooling & Infrastructure: Knowledge of cloud data platforms, data governance principles, and emerging BI/analytics technologies.
    • Innovation & Curiosity: Passion for staying ahead of industry trends and experimenting with new methodologies to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
