This is a 6 month contract to work with the project team and has been assessed outside IR35.

Saputo is upgrading its Dynamics 2012 R3 ERP system to Dynamics F&O over the next 12 months. As part of this project, Saputo aims to implement Power BI dashboards and a Fabric Data Lake. The role involves working with the business across five sites to analyze reporting requirements, identify required data sources, and document requirements and potential efficiency savings. Following the documentation and approval of priorities, the role will be responsible for developing relevant Power BI dashboards and reports. The role will require travel for business analysis at the five sites (Davidstow, Weybridge, Nuneaton, Kirkby, Wensleydale). Once development starts, travel will be limited to the Weybridge Head Office.

You will make contributions that matter by:

  • Collaborating with business users to interpret requirements into data models and analytical solutions.
  • Facilitating workshops and documenting outcomes, including requirements, Functional Specifications, design, and data models.
  • Contributing to BI strategy and architecture, ensuring scalable and strategic designs.
  • Developing and optimising components of the solution to ensure high performance with large data volumes.
  • Administering and governing the Fabric platform, ensuring data quality and resolving gaps.
  • Utilising Microsoft Analytics tools for seamless integration and efficient user interface development.
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing SQL queries for data accuracy and performance.
  • Mentoring and coaching project team members.

You are best suited for the role if you:

  • Have strong business acumen and experience with Microsoft Azure technologies.
  • Are proficient in data ingestion, integration, transformation, storage, and management.
  • Have experience with data lake/data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
  • Possess strong SQL and Power BI skills, including Dynamics F&O.
  • Can manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
