The Gig:

The Revenue Planning Manager, will be a key player in preparing short- and long-range revenue forecasts and building internal alignment on the path to achieving our revenue goals. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing our annual revenue budget, as well as regular look-ahead refreshes of our expected short-term performance. To do this, you will need to collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify the optimal achievable source of business mix and set targets for the organization that maximize revenue potential within the constraints of the demand for our product.

What You'll Be Up To:

  • Refine and execute our Revenue Planning model, in collaboration with our Data Science & Analytics team

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve forecasting

  • Conduct regular forecast refreshes and communicate results internally

  • Share targets (e.g., revenue, bookings, sailor counts) with stakeholders throughout the organization as appropriate

  • Communicate our expected performance and actual performance vs plan to an audience including executives and investors

SuperPowers Required:

  • Crack quantitative modeler with the ability to synthesize multiple data sources 

  • Strong communicator who can build consensus across multiple stakeholders (e.g., in revenue, sales, marketing) and communicate insights and plans to executive leadership and investors

  • Ownership mindset and ability to take responsibility for and steer both modeling and process 

  • A comfort working with data - from understanding how it’s structured and stored, to retrieving and manipulating data to gain actionable insights

Experience and education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or quantitative field (e.g., STEM, social science) preferred, or equivalent work experience

  • 3-5+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the travel or hospitality sectors

  • Experience in consulting or private equity a plus

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office or Google Docs Editors

  • Ability to use BI tools (like Tableau) to visualize data insights

  • Extensive data literacy with intermediate BI, Python, and/or SQL skills

This gig is based at VVHQ - our swanky Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL where we follow a hybrid work environment. We can't wait to 'sea' you in person during our Collaboration Days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while you enjoy Mondays and Fridays' as remote days.
