About The role

Deliver professional and consistent service to customers. Support in resolving Local Country inquiries for DMT function.

Maintain Vendor, Customer Master Data objects in SAP MDG and SAP ECC on daily basis.

Support Team Lead to handle master data processing within well-defined guidelines, including resolving basic queries and investigations in a timely manner in DMT area. Carry out all master data requests accurately and within specified timescales. Where necessary, analyse the work items, identify and resolve issues with supervision.

Accountabilities

  • Perform various tasks related to Vendors, Customers and Finance Master Data in SAP MDG and SAP ECC, handling master data processing within well-defined guidelines, including resolving basic queries and investigations in a timely manner in DMT.
  • Take lead in process improvement and productivity initiatives. These include updating and reviewing DMT process documentation.
  • Participate and support on sub project groups based on the initiative driven by tower lead.
  • Support and enabling people learning, development and career progression. Helps new joiners to optimally settle into their new role in their stream. Helps existing team member to be effective and undergo smooth transitioning across changes of process, tools, system, or even new structure of the team.
  • Build and sustain effective engagement with local business to deliver performance and implement standard process.
  • Ensure a good level of understanding of the local business requirements. Operate financial controls and governance to a standard that ensure Sox, Financial Controls Framework and Audit requirements are met.
  • Generate and compile KPI metrics related to DMT function at month end and as/when required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Finance or equivalent.
  • Possess 1-2 years of accounting/operational master data work experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP, Oracle or other ERP system.
  • Experience of working in a shared service center across a global /large organization will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication skill and able to communicate efficiently in English.
  • Knowledge in visual basic and macros is an added advantage.
  • Where required, proficiency in a particular foreign language.
  • Fresh graduates and candidates pursuing a professional qualification (Part Time) in ACCA, CIMA or any other relevant qualification are encouraged to apply.
