Booz Allen Hamilton
Using tomorrow’s technologies, Booz Allen advances the nation’s most critical civil, defense, and national security missions. The Opportunity:
As an analytics professional, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. Do you want to use your analytical mindset and grow your technical skills while developing solutions to problems? Are you excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set? In an increasingly connected world, massive amounts of structured and unstructured data open new opportunities. As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can help turn these complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges. Across private and public sectors, we need you to help find the answers in the data.
On our team, you’ll use your communication skills and analytical expertise to create real-world impact. You will be working with a multi-disciplinary team of data analysts, data scientists, data engineers, electrical engineers, test engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment directly assisting Department of Defense clients, such as the U.S. Air Force, in the testing and certification of new or modified aircraft systems. You’ll work closely with clients to understand the requirements behind every effort, and then dig into their data and documentation to help find the pieces of their information puzzle. You'll run analytical tools, clean and transform data, conduct research, draft, review, and edit analytical reports, and effectively communicate results to the client in support of their decisions. You’ll guide teammates and help lead analytical processes and the development of algorithms and systems. You’ll use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to advise your clients as they make informed decisions. Ultimately, you’ll provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used.
Work with us as we use data for good.
What You'll Work On:
Use your technical knowledge and analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships.
Research, develop, and test data methodologies, and generate cross-functional solutions through collection, interpretation, design of experiments, evaluation, and analysis of large data sets.
Apply consulting skills and data analytics experience by simplifying technical requirements and trends, based on audience.

Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
Apply data visualization through different formats such as graphs, tables, PowerPoint presentations, and Tableau Dashboards.
Grow your communication and technical skills by merging consulting and big data to create data-centric solutions across the testing and evaluation industry.
