Data Analytics Architect (Nexus)

As part of our ongoing pursuit of excellence, we will be kicking off a significant Transformation Project to introduce S/4HANA, and as such we have created several positions to support this enterprise project (Project Nexus)

Role Purpose:

As the Data Analytics Architect, you will lead the technical for design and implementation the data architecture and analytics framework within the S/4HANA ERP transformation project. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP data models, advanced analytics, and data visualization tools. The Data Analytics Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other IT teams to ensure the organization maximizes the value of its data assets during and after the ERP transformation.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact ERP transformation project with exposure to cutting-edge SAP technologies. The role is critical to ensuring that the organization leverages S/4HANA to drive business value and operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of the data architecture , ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
  • Define data models, schemas, and data integration strategies to support analytics and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and execute the data analytics strategy within the S/4HANA environment, focusing on enabling advanced analytics and business intelligence.
  • Identify key business metrics and KPIs and design data pipelines to support real-time and batch reporting.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for data analytics-related issues and requirements within the S/4HANA project.
  • Lead the design and development of data visualization and reporting solutions, providing intuitive and interactive dashboards for end-users.
  • Support the organization’s advanced analytics initiatives by enabling predictive modeling, machine learning, and other data science capabilities within the S/4HANA framework.
  • Implement data quality assurance processes, including data validation and auditing procedures, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics outputs.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data architectures in large-scale SAP projects.
  • Strong knowledge in SAP and non SAP Data Warehousing technologies
  • Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
