Full Stack Developer

The Opportunity:

As a full stack developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, Agile environment. If you’re looking for the chance to not just develop software, but to proactively identify and solve problems, we need you on our team. This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their problem solving and leadership skills to deliver back-end and front-end solutions to integrate data and tech into the client's operational environment.

This role is more than just coding. As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with designing and developing complex web applications that collect, store, and manage data

  • 5+ years of experience with using one or more tools and technologies, including scripting and programming with Java, JavaScript, Python, R, ETL engineering, or pipelining, streaming tools, including NiFi or Kafka, or Data Visualization, and Dashboarding, including Jupyter, Kibana, Tableau, or ESRI, or SQL, NoSQL, and graph and relational database, including Elastic, Postgres, NEO4J, Mongo, S3, or Accumulo

  • 2+ years of experience with data science tools and techniques and their integration with data stores

  • Experience working with IC enterprise data sets 

  • Experience with Agile software development practices and technology

  • Active passport with at least 6 months validity for the purposes of visa applications

  • TS/SCI clearance 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, or Engineering

  • Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within 6 months of hire

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in designing, developing, deploying, and testing with a Cloud provider, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem and tools, including EC2, S3, ELBs, RDS, networking and VPCs, security groups, Cloud Trails, Cloud Watch, or Cloud Formation

  • Experience with ML, AI, and data quality analytics or automating machine learning components

  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Cloud Formation, or Docker

  • Knowledge of information assurance and data security policies and guidelines 

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
