Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Leverage knowledge in Machine Learning and Deep Learning as well as hand on experience with deep learning frameworks including TensorFlow and Pytorch to evaluate new AI & Software tools through POC and propose solutions for implementation. Document, guide, design systems and reference architectures, and implementation. Practice strong software development, testing principles and best practices including Test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD, code refactoring, and coding standards. Take ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Master’s Degree or equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering or related. Three (3) years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering for computer vision industrial applications, cloud platforms and technologies, production code in imaging domain or a combination thereof.  Work experience to include: Three (3) years of hands-on experience in computer vision AI tasks including image and video classification, image segmentation, keypoint detection, OCR (optical character recognition), and self-supervised learning; Three (3) years of experience in Python and C# programing languages including deep learning frameworks and tools: scikit-learn, NumPy, SciPy, Apache MXNet, Tensorflow and Pytorch; Three (3) years of experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, terraform, github or docker containers; Three (3) years of experience deploying and maintaining end to end containerized serverless ML/AI applications in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure using tools (for example: EC2, ECS, IAM, S3, lambda, SQS, VPC, flask, Gunicorn or AWS Sagemaker); Three (3) years of software development experience in Agile methodologies and SDLC using tools (such as Jira, Visual Studio code, Git, Github, or Confluence); Three (3) years of full-stack development experience building 2D/3D Computer Vision based AI applications using frameworks including Tensorflow, Pytorch, or MXNet; Three (3) years experience with data structures, data preparation and data management using MYSQL, Oracle SQL and DB2; and Certificate of Specialization in AI for Medicine or Healthcare.  Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.

Salary range: $180,960-$221,760 / year

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $180,960-$221,760 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
