Are you passionate about harnessing data and modern machine learning technology to shape innovative ideas? We are seeking a motivated and independent-minded Business Data Analyst to drive technical innovation and collaborate closely with our business experts. Your role will be pivotal in leveraging the power of data and cutting-edge machine learning technology to shape ideas into actionable insights, contributing to our team’s growth and success. You'll be part of our dynamic team working mainly across three key areas: automated data extraction, financial analytics, and AI, shaping the future of our organization through data-driven solutions.

What You Will Do 

• work closely with the business experts to gather data science requirements, assess and structure innovative ideas
• ensure alignment with organizational vision and strategic goals as well as team-specific focus areas
• design statistically robust analyses and proof of concepts that exhibit predictive capabilities, while formulating testable hypothesis and thereby creating actionable plans
• gather complex data sets, interpret the data, and collaborate with business experts to scrutinize and improve data quality
• conduct data analysis utilizing industry-standard tools such as Python with Pandas, SQL and DataBricks

What You Bring

• excellent communication skills, adept at crafting clear and structured reports on complex topics
• ideally, a background in natural sciences accompanied by a strong proficiency in statistical analysisc
• a strong doer mentality, dedicated to high-quality results and a willingness to learn
• strong project management skills, adept at handling multiple tasks and delivering within deadlines while maintaining quality standards
