Additionally, our award-winning workload allocation platform, Engage, exemplifies our commitment to innovative solutions. As part of this commitment, the Platform Innovations Manager will lead efforts to gathering user requirements, managing software development projects, and ensuring effective integration and support across the firm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Platform Innovations efforts from design to successful execution, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure achievement of objectives.

  • Gather and develop clear requirements for firm-wide platforms by liaising with practice groups and administrative departments.

  • Manage the ongoing development and refinement of custom innovation platforms, such as Engage and MobileOne, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the firm.

  • Oversee software development projects, coordinating with internal and external development teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, training materials, and support resources for platform users.

  • Liaise with training and support teams to ensure seamless platform integration and user adoption.

  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in legal technology to ensure the firm remains at the forefront of innovation.

  • Prepare and present reports on platform initiatives, performance metrics, and outcomes to senior leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proven product management skills, with experience in gathering requirements and managing software development projects.

  • Deep understanding of technology platforms and their applications in the legal industry.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate non-technical stakeholder requirements into technical specifications for development teams.

  • Expertise in developing and delivering training programs to ensure end-users are proficient in utilizing new platforms and technologies, along with documenting user experiences to prepare support teams and maintain high standards of user satisfaction.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in software development, project management, training, or other related roles, with at least two (2) years in a leadership position.

  • Experience working in a large law firm and/or with legal technology platforms is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing software development projects and driving technology adoption within an organization.

Hiring Salary Range:

$120,000.00 - $140,000.00
