About the role

The AI team at Agile Robots is seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong interest in robotics manipulation. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in designing, implementing, and deploying ML solutions for robotics in dynamic environments.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize machine learning models for robotics manipulation tasks.
• Collaborate with the Robotics team to integrate ML algorithms into robotic systems, enhancing performance and adaptability.
• Work on the simulation, analysis, and testing of ML-driven manipulation solutions.
• Assist in implementing learning-based solutions in real-world robotic scenarios.
• Support the development of tools and pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment of ML models.
• Stay updated with advancements in machine learning and robotics to continually improve our systems.
• Participate in cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration between ML and robotics components.

Essential Skills

• Master's degree in computer science, Robotics, AI, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of machine learning concepts and techniques.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Advanced understanding of robotic manipulation principles and challenges.
• Programming proficiency in Python.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and an eagerness to learn.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Beneficial Skills

•  Experience with robotic simulation tools such as MuJoCo, Gazebo, or Isaac Sim.
• Familiarity with robotic middleware, e.g., ROS (Robot Operating System).
•  Knowledge of optimization techniques for robotics applications.
• Basic understanding of sensor integration for robotics.
• Experience in deploying ML models in production environments
