SQL + Python Developer (2-4 years of experience)

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Independently drive data analysis projects using Python and SQL to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Analyze large datasets efficiently to extract relevant information.
  • Identify data anomalies, errors, and inconsistencies, and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
  • Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a field such as Data Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science/ Bachelor of Engineering with 2-4 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in Python programming to perform data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Strong SQL skills, including proficiency in writing complex queries, joining tables.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and data integration techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, from data exploration to presenting results.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into data queries.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Exposure to the asset management industry or financial services is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset, always seeking opportunities to improve processes and provide data-driven insights.
  • Work from Office as this position is for ODC project
