The Senior Channel Associate supports the development and execution of strategies for the marketing and sales of population health product offerings to large employers and plan sponsors. These activities include direct sales and marketing as well as the development of strategic channel partnerships with health plans and benefit consultants. The Senior Associate manages a book of business of large employers and/or plan sponsors. This is a highly visible role with significant opportunities to engage with senior leadership across the Mount Sinai Health System and to represent Mount Sinai with key stakeholders in the employee health benefits market place in New York and nationally.
1. Large Group Product Development supports product development by gathering, distilling, and communicating feedback from large group buyers and users; collaborate with product managers to ensure that the product offerings (see Background) are tailored to the needs of the large group segment; act as the voice of the customer throughout the product development process through gathering formal and informal customer feedback to beta versions of products in development; ensure product pricing strategy fits the buying habits of the large group segment
2. Large Group Marketing & Sales Strategy supports the development and execution of a strategy to market and sell MSHP product offerings to large groups via multiple channels leveraging thorough 1st and 3rd party research of the addressable market, competitor offerings, and government regulations; deliverables include the assessment of multiple sales channel alternatives, development of fact-based value proposition for the large group segment, and development of a multi-year sales forecast by product type
3. Large Group Strategic Account Management supports the growth, and management of key accounts by developing and executing account strategies that maximize value for every dollar spent by customers including: setting growth targets, employee campaigns, project plans for implementation relationship management; manage customer accounts to ensure customers have high satisfaction and an actuarially sound value proposition
4. Large Group Product Marketing supports marketing of MSHP products by representing Mount Sinai at key industry events and coordinating editorial pick-up and public relations activities; also includes producer roadshows and being the lead for the creation of beneficial working relationships with key producers
5. Large Group Product Sales supports sales of MSHP products by assisting with development of sales materials, RFP completion, and general coordination of sales processes
- Bachelors Degree with academic distinction (STEM degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in management consulting (client-facing experience)
- Experience developing market research and business cases for new strategies or products
- Expertise in using data analytics (R, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Access) to solve client problems
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $106,108.00 - $159,161.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
