We are actively seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the team here at KUBRA, underscoring their commitment to enhancing data-driven decision-making capabilities. This pivotal role involves the creation and maintenance of a robust foundational data infrastructure, facilitating seamless self-service analytics across the organization. The Analytics Engineer will play a key part in constructing interactive dashboards, empowering users with real-time insights and data accessibility. Through close collaboration with various departments, the engineer will ensure that KUBRA continues to leverage data effectively, driving efficiency and innovation throughout the company!
This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our office in Mississauga, ON.

What you get to do everyday!

  • Build reports and dashboards in Power BI or Looker.
  • Provide end to end solutions from building data models in SQL/python to deploying the reports.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers/ ML Engineers in building the reporting datasets.
  • Work with the front end team to embed the reports and dashboards.
  • Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse.
  • Design and maintain organized, efficient, and reusable data models that support analytics and reporting.
  • Own the responsibility from developing the reports to deploying the reports.
  • Discover new KPIs to keep track of the business and to provide better insights.
  • Work with Data Engineers to provide the requirements for the reporting.
  • Work with the Finance and the Client teams to automate manual processes and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) reports.

  • Ability to handle pressure.

What skills do you need?

  • At least 2-3 years in building reporting solutions.
  • Hands on Knowledge of Data Modeling and Cloud Warehousing.
  • Demonstrable experience with SQL, Power BI/Looker.
  • Desirable to have Databricks or dbt experience.
  • Preferable to have experience with Python/AWS.
