Meta's Infrastructure Supply Chain and Engineering (ISCE) Organization is seeking a Demand Manager to lead and optimize demand planning for AI server racks.

As a Compute and Storage Demand Manager, you'll be responsible for developing close partnerships internally and externally to build mid-to-long range demand outlooks to inform business strategy and execution. You will apply your technical expertise in infrastructure and data center build/deployment, coupled with advanced analytics and forecasting capabilities. This role presents an opportunity for a technically adept individual to drive supply chain initiatives in Data Center equipment for AI capacity delivery and significantly impact the performance of our operations.Demand Manager, Compute and Storage Responsibilities
  • Develop core partnerships with Capacity, Sourcing, Engineering and Finance teams to build the mid-to-long term demand planning and forecasting strategies.
  • Develop and manage an optimized forecast to support build out of Network, Data Center Construction and Compute & Storage.
  • Develop and build forecasting models and related strategies in collaboration with Capacity and Data Science Engineering teams that incorporate cost optimization, Infra Capacity and Engineering feedback on Rack optionality, AI/GenAI strategies and Network Topology. Develop what-if planning models (flexibility simulations), Power-to-Rack conversion constraint build outs, and planning systems for demand (Oracle).
  • Build and utilize planning software to manage supply chain processes. Collaborate with our Enterprise Products, Analytics and SWE teams to continually enhance our automation efforts, optimizing efficiency and accuracy in our supply chain operations.
  • Build out AI/GenAI technical forecasting models, that consider the engineering options for rack demand (ROCE/IB, HBME2e vs. HBM3 GPUs, HTTM-Next GPU transition, Artemis, AMD) and collaborate with Capacity in driving demand trade-offs.
  • Effectively communicate the plan and its commitments across the organization, including up to the leadership level and across various cross-functional teams, ensuring a clear understanding of supply commitments and potential implications.
  • Support the IBP/S&OP cycle, ensuring that it aligns with overall business objectives and maintaining a seamless process from start to end.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business (operations, supply chain, finance, economics), engineering, or supply chain management
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain-related roles (demand, supply, materials, or inventory planning)
  • Technical knowledge of server forecasting approaches and supply chain demand planning
  • Advanced demand planning/ERP systems design and usage (O9/SAP/Oracle)
  • Experience with designing and building advanced statistical/stochastic forecasting approaches including using these models to drive forecast consensus (ex. Monte Carlo modeling)
  • Experience with building optimization models as related to demand/supply planning and inventory balancing
  • Core understanding (and driver) of the Integrated Business Planning process
  • Basic coding skills (Python, Apps Script, SQL)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain-related roles (demand, supply, materials, or inventory planning)
  • Experience in hyper-scale technology
  • Detail oriented, experience with communicating complex problems and solutions, drive to collaborate, and bias for action to overcome challenges
  • Extensive process/system background and need to rapidly understand, use and drive process improvements in new processes/systems
  • Knowledge of server and storage hardware architecture and technologies
