DATA ENGINEER - Enterprise Data Products (m/f/d)

The impact you will create:  

• Develop and implement powerful data pipelines with state-of-the-art technologies from market leaders such as Ab Initio, Google, STACKIT and Snowflake
• Design and build sustainable ETL / backend solutions in cloud & on-premise architectures.
• Enable the supply of the central Data Lakehouse of the companies of the Schwarz Group
• Gain insights into the business processes of all divisions of the companies of the Schwarz Group and handle data that goes far beyond the pure use in the BI environment.
• Take responsibility for the processes you create and ensure high software quality of the applications.

Experience and skills you will need: 

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in development with ETL tools such as Ab Initio, Informatica, Talend, dbt. Experience with Kafka is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud tools (DataFlow, DataProc, Data Fusion). Knowledge of Apache Spark and Apache Airflow are an advantage.
• Very good knowledge of database technologies (Postgres / BigQuery / Snowflake / SQL Server).
• Existing knowledge in the area of Data Lakehouse architecture.
• Technical affinity and strong quality awareness.
• Experienced in the implementation of IT projects.
• Very strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to grasp new business processes quickly.
• Strong English verbal and written skills.
