Senior Data Governance Analyst

Job Description

The Senior Data Governance Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and governing data within our organization. The responsibilities will include documenting the data governance program, writing policies, and documenting processes. The analyst will outline awareness programs and work with various committees to advance all verticals within the program. This role involves analyzing and documenting data entities, classifying data, maintaining system integration details, analyzing security models and user role assignments, and documenting access to data entities containing restricted or sensitive data.
The Senior Data Governance Analyst needs to demonstrate strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of data governance principles, leverage the appropriate technologies to execute on those principles, and the ability to organize and collaborate cross-functional teams. The analyst role will offer great career progression for the right individual who is able to provide program maturity, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and understand how to move the data governance strategy forward.
