Northrop Grumman’s Advanced Tactical Programs (ATP) Operating Unit (OU), operating within the Tactical Fighters Business Unit, Airborne Multifunction Sensors (AMS) Division, is seeking a Data Insight Analyst to support Program Management & Technical Leadership. This position will be onsite and located in Baltimore, Maryland.  

ATP is one of the fastest growing programs in the AMS Division and has a unique range of cutting-edge technology programs spanning development and production. It operates in a challenging and fast-paced environment to bring needed capability to the warfighter.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain compelling data visualizations to summarize and communicate findings at various organizational levels.
  • Partner with Program Management & Technical Leadership, who will provide in-depth subject matter expertise of relevant data sources.
  • Review data for quality and prepare it for integration and analysis.
  • Develop creative solutions to challenging problems in a high-visibility environment.
  • Respond to ad hoc data delivery requests and troubleshoot user issues.
  • Educate end users on data visualizations and dashboards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, 5 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts or project management in other industries. Or 3 years with Master's Degree. 4 additional years experience in lieu of a college degree.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience generating data visualizations & dashboards in Tableau.
  • Competence and confidence working under pressure on requests with short turn-around times.
  • Experience with data cleaning & the aggregation/mapping of disparate data sets.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance or higher (granted or renewed within the last 6 years) and ability to obtain special access clearances.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Jira & Jira data products.
  • Experience creating tools (such as Python scripts) to automate recurring data collection / aggregation activities.

Salary Range: $95,800.00 - $143,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
