Asset Management Data Analyst

The Opportunity:

Are you a data enthusiast? Does deep diving into datasets to identify trends and anomalies make your day? If so, we’ve got the role for you! The CDM Asset Management Team is looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about cybersecurity, data quality, and client delivery.  

You know data management concepts and can design and develop solutions that inform solutions. You collaborate with other SMEs, like Solution Architects and Integration Engineers, to help solve the client's most challenging issues. Introducing efficiencies to any process is a no-brainer for you and you do it organically. In this role, you become an expert in the client’s environment and can guide technical discussions.  

We are looking for a data analyst who wants to be part of a mission-oriented team supporting client strategic goals through data analysis and management. Be prepared to exercise your consulting skills in a highly matrixed organization. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with Splunk, including Environment sizing, troubleshooting, and Dashboard Development 

  • 1+ years of experience with designing, implementing, configuring, and operating IT systems or security infrastructure

  • 1+ years of experience supporting a Cybersecurity program

  • Experience with CRM systems like ServiceNow or Smartsheet 

  • Experience with Data Quality management and converting customer requirements to technical requirements

  • Experience developing and automating metrics and measures associated with Data Quality      

  • Experience in an Agile work environment    

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements 

  • HS diploma or GED 

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the CDM program  

  • Experience working in large federal agency environments

  • Experience testing application design and developing unit testing against developed solutions 

  • Experience with one or more Cyber technologies. 

  • Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems 

  • Bachelor's degree in IT Security or Engineering 

  • CISSP, Red Hat, ForeScout, or Splunk Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
