Position: Senior Manager I, Advanced Analytics
Job Location: 10500 NE 8th Street (13th floor), Bellevue, WA 98004
Duties: Work with business partners to discuss and understand functional objectives and key business challenges to develop hypotheses around current and future business issues. Identify functional analytics and research objectives and develop tactical research plans. Provide guidance to stakeholders and advise on next steps based on insights objectives and research. Present actionable recommendations to stakeholders to inform strategic and tactical functional initiatives. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with leadership and other key stakeholders. Address complex business problems by applying advanced analytics to drive data-driven decision making. Make strategic recommendations to the team based on data analysis. Execute data analysis strategy, providing guidance to less experienced team members. Develop data models for workstreams and individual projects within a business area or category to drive business results and value. Collaborate with project team to implement modeling solutions. Develop prototypes and production-ready complex algorithms for workstreams and individual projects. Monitor the testing and validation process to monitor the solution. Develop new data analysis techniques and implement them to uncover insights. Collaborate with functional leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g., Business operations, Data Engineering) to develop consultative solutions for workstreams and individual projects for a business area, category, or prototype. Interface with external business partners and vendors. Coordinate job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs by identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 4 years of experience in data analytics or related field.
Skills required: Experience developing reporting frameworks for driving business strategy and providing analytics support to identify opportunities that drive business/product. Experience working with cross functional teams and translating complex outputs into actionable insights to business stakeholders. Experience coding in R and Python for descriptive, inferential, and predictive analysis. Experience querying and transforming data from traditional and cloud-based databases including GCP, Teradata, and Hive using SQL. Experience with statistical techniques including Hypothesis Testing and Experiment Design to measure impact on key business metrics. Experience with data preparation and analysis using Excel and effectively communicating results to technical and non-technical audiences using PowerPoint. Experience with Machine Learning Algorithms including Random Forest, Logistic Regression, and Linear Regression. Experience working on data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Shiny to communicate and deliver reports in an accessible form. Experience with data engineering, scheduling, and automating processes or reports using Cronjobs, VBA, and Alteryx. Experience guiding a team by monitoring data analytics projects in a fast-paced agile environment. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $150,987/year to $264,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
