The purpose of our "P&C Analytics, Processes & Technology" team is to enable a seamless employee experience by ensuring that data, processes, and technology work together to support Hempel’s growth journey. In other words: we are on a highly important mission!

We are looking for You to join us as our Head of People Data & Analytics, where you will play a pivotal role not only in managing and optimizing our HR data foundation, reporting and analytics, but also in leading and developing a small team to deliver value-adding insights about Hempel’s workforce and organization.

Some of the tasks you will be entrusted with

  • Lead the global People Analytics agenda and establish a roadmap for the function
  • Lead and develop a customer-oriented People Analytics team 
  • Collaborate across the organization to develop HR reports/dashboards built on Workday data and proactively drive initiatives to support management decision making
  • Support the organization with ad hoc insights for data driven decisions
  • Ensure necessary policies and SOPs are in place
  • Drive automation of insights products and experiment with AI-enabled solutions
  • Manage reporting to authorities and adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Establish oversight of data quality and implement people data audits and drive data quality and data compliance improvements
  • Act as people data steward towards global Master Data Management team and Finance
  • Support P&C process excellence with data insights on process performance in Workday
  • Improve data literacy in P&C
  • Engage into and actively contribute to the federated engagement model driven by Hempel’s central Digital BI/Data team and collaborate with other business-anchored data and analytics teams

What we expect you to have in your backpack as background and experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Degree in Data Analytics, HR, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading analytics projects or functions, preferably in HR or people analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate data insights into business outcomes.
  • Leadership mindset with a passion for developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of HR metrics, workforce planning, and organizational behavior.
  • Knowledge of global HR compliance, data privacy, and governance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Expertise in data visualization and dashboarding tools, particularly Power BI.
  • Proficiency in extracting and analysing data from Workday and/or other HRIS platforms.
  • Experience in a global or multi-cultural organization is a plus.
  • SQL and data transformation skills are a plus
