IT Asset Manager

We are seeking an IT Asset Manager to join our ever growing HW IT team. The role requires a blend of technical expertise in automation and practical skills in hardware management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an automated management strategy for IT hardware assets.
• Implement automation tools for inventory, deployment, and tracking of hardware assets.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance to optimize asset utilization and cost-efficiency.
• Define and enforce policies relating to IT asset management.
• Audit and report on hardware assets using automation tools.
• Manage vendor relationships for hardware procurement and automation platforms.
• Train staff on using systems for hardware asset management.
• Stay current with hardware asset management and automation technology trends.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in IT hardware asset management with a focus on automation.
• Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with Oomnitza or similar asset management platforms.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (e.g., Jinja, Python) is preferred.
• Relevant IT asset management certification preferred.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
