About the team and position

Step into the world of Registration Analytics, where data-driven insights pave the way for transformation. Our team is on a mission to redefine how we approach registration processes across the country, harnessing data as our compass to enhance both operational efficiency and user experience. We are a collective of curious minds who thrive on challenging the status quo and exploring new solutions. As an Operations Analyst, you'll play a critical role in analyzing data to support strategy development and operational improvements. You will use your skills in tools such as SQL and Tableau to uncover actionable insights, visualize complex datasets, and communicate findings effectively. What you’ll be doing

• Using Your Technical Chops:
  • SQL! SQL! SQL! It is at the heart of this Analytics role, so we are looking for someone who lives and breathes it. 
  • Utilize business intelligence tools, including Tableau, SQL (MS SQL Server, SnowFlake, BigQuery), Python and Excel to solve operational problems
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to operationalize procedures and pipelines
  • Lead the charge in extracting, cleansing, and visualizing data 
• Being An Awesome Stakeholder:
  • Partner with senior leadership to prioritize, architect and prototype solutions to optimize business processes
  • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional operational leadership in order to understand strategic priorities and critical projects
  • Work with non-technical end-users to validate data, solicit feedback and encourage buy-in for new reporting and analysis
  • Gain critical knowledge regarding internal and cross-departmental operations, as you work closely with stakeholders and other Analysts
• Looking Towards The Future:
  • Develop and maintain essential reporting products and accessible data sources used widely across our organization
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to implement reporting systems that capture granular data, which is used to drive decision-making and prioritize engineering efforts around proposed technology solutions
  • Anticipate short- and long-term bottlenecks in order to proactively propose solutions 

What you should have

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Analytics or Technical field from an accredited undergraduate institution required
• 1-3 years of experience in data, reporting or analytics
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• An analytical mindset and an excitement to learn new methods and tools (ETL, Python, R, Tableau, etc.)
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and business teams and communicate across them in a clear and concise manner understood by all
• Have the flexibility to move and shake with competing and changing priorities
