We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst specializing in health plan network analytics to join our team. Your primary responsibility is to play a pivotal role in revolutionizing healthcare network design. You will contribute to the advancement of our industry by leveraging claims data, provider supply files, and provider network files to enhance the efficiency, intelligence, and thoughtfulness of network design solutions. Your focus will be identifying and quantifying challenges, bringing them to industry attention, and providing creative, data-driven solutions. #LI-Remote

In this role you will:

  • Ingest and Cleanse Data: 
  • Acquire and ingest relevant data sets, including claims data and provider network files. 
  • Implement robust data cleansing procedures to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

  • Enrich and Analyze Data:  
  • Enhance datasets by integrating additional relevant information.
  • Analyze complex datasets using a variety of tools, with a particular emphasis on SQL, Excel, and Databricks. 
  • Identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform strategic decisions related to network design.

  • Disseminate Results: 
  • Develop insightful and visually compelling reports using Power BI.
  • Effectively communicate findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data analysis with business objectives.

  • Continue to Learn and Innovate: 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements. 
  • Continuously explore novel approaches and methodologies to address healthcare network challenges. 
  • Contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions that differentiate our company in the market.

This role requires:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on healthcare data.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of technology, data manipulation tools, and healthcare industry regulations.
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience with data tools such as Databricks and Spark.
  • Familiarity with best practices of data management and governance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Python, R, Scala, or Java preferred.
