As a Data Analyst I at Fanatics Betting & Gaming, you will be responsible for uncovering actionable insights to drive growth within our most valuable customer segments. You will play a key role in the development and execution of VIP strategic initiatives, and you will support the day to day operations of our VIP customer team. You will build scalable performance dashboards and KPI monitoring and use these insights to provide recommendations to senior stakeholders and the executive team.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a hyper growth atmosphere, and able to balance multiple projects without sacrificing accuracy. They will bring thoughtful, effective ideas and solutions to a rapidly growing organization, contributing at a hands-on level.
Responsibilities
- Surface actionable insights, metrics, and dashboards to key VIP stakeholders, both within Fanatics Betting & Gaming and the broader Fanatics VIP ecosystem
- Provide data-driven strategic recommendations for new business initiatives and process improvements across the VIP org
- Own the VIP analytics roadmap and appropriately prioritize based on the programs most pressing needs
- Own the key performance metrics and evaluation of the VIP program
- Own and track to the the key performance metrics of each role within the VIP department
- Transform stakeholder visions into measurable goals and monitor progress against these goals
- Identify and take ownership of strategic areas of opportunity within the VIP organization
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Marketing, Product, Data Science, Loyalty) to build solutions to VIP business problems
Experience and Skills
- 2-4 years experience in a data analysis, strategic analysis, or similar operational analysis role
- Excellent communication skills, experience with presenting to senior leadership
- Experience with building dashboards and reporting tools in Tableau
- Complete proficiency in SQL
- Ability to appropriately own and prioritize multiple projects at the same time
- Experience mentoring or managing junior analysts is a plus
- Experience with R, Python, or another statistical programming language is a plus
- Passion to work in an entrepreneurial, hyper growth environment where decisions are made quickly
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Engineering, Economics or another relevant discipline
- Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings
- Understanding of sports betting and/or iGaming is a bonus, but not required
