We are seeking a talented and experienced machine learning engineer to join our dynamic, remote-first team at Edelman. You will be a core contributor to designing, experimenting, and implementing machine learning and GenAI solutions as part of our global product development group. This team focuses on creating AI-driven solutions that deliver actionable PR insights for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploydata science solutions across a wide range of domains and approaches
  • Collaborate closely with other ML engineers, MLOps engineers, front/back-end engineers, data engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business requirements.
  • Document your work thoroughly to support future development and maintenance efforts.

Technical Requirements:

  • 2+ years of data science and/or machine learning experience.
  • Experience developing production ready machine learning models for structured and unstructured data including LLMs, time series, or tabular models.
  • Experience performing exploratory data analysis and communicating insights with non-technical teammates
  • Proficiency with Python

Additional Technical Requirements:

  • · Experience working with media metrics, behaviors, and tools for both organic and paid
  • · Experience with ML and DevOps tools such as MLFlow and Git
  • · Experience with cloud services and platforms such as Databricks
  • · Experience with OpenAI’s custom GPT’s and model endpoints

Non-Technical Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Ability to work semi-autonomously on complex tasks
  • Experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment
